There are 63 national parks in the USA: a wide-ranging wealth of adventures just waiting to be explored! Truly, the diversity of these parks is staggering: crocodile-spotting in the coastal southeast, a cold climb of the country’s highest mountain in the far northwest, the ravishing red rocks of the southern deserts and the world’s tallest trees on the west coast – and a million more adventures in between. There are 59 national parks on the mainland alone: California alone has nine (9!) national parks. But let’s not forget the far-flung island parks: in Hawai’i, American Samoa and the Virgin Islands, too!
Visiting the national parks of the USA is the best way to explore all the natural beauty this vast country has to offer. Enjoy your exploration of them: whether that is on foot or on a great American road trip – or better yet, both.
