Displaced from China because of the pandemic, we found ourselves unexpectedly relocated to North America in early 2020. What began as a vacation turned into weeks of staying put. Weeks turned into months, turned into an entire year…and then some!
Since then, I’ve been writing the occasional, journal-style post – including some that detail our difficulties returning to work and our sport. My first posts are simply my take on life in those strange times early on. More recently, I explore the luck and privilege that have kept me safe from the virus thus far.
